    SUMMARY

    To assist the FRYSC Director in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Resource/Youth Service Center per the KRS

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform general office duties and clerical tasks.
    • Assist the Director in meetings, conferences and trainings.
    • Home Visits for student/family based services.
    • Assist in coordination of services for families, youth and children.
    • Attend meetings and trainings pertaining to the job.
    • Assist in Center programming for students/families.
    • Assist in Center purchasing and inventory.
    • Process documents, arrange and compile data for reports.
    • Assist in student/family advocacy and case conferences.
    • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor and/or Superintendent.
    QUALIFICATIONS

    A high school or college graduate.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    The physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that this position classification must perform in carrying out essential job functions.
    • Persons performing service in this position classification will exert 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
    • This type of work involves sitting a portion of the time, but will involve walking or standing for extended periods.
    • Perceiving the nature of sound, near and far visual acuity, depth perception providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    Experience in working with schools, community agencies and families is desired.

    A high school or college graduate that possesses communication and written skills with the ability to work with students and families in a cooperative manner.
