    Sign-on bonus: Department: Medical Surgical

    Schedule:
    Full Time FT Days, hour shifts per week, 7am - 7pm

    Birmingham, Alabama Our Medical Surgical has a 5:1 ratio and 32 beds. There is a stand alone PCS day and night and discharge nurse to help with workload.     Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Responsibilities Provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within scope of license.
    Contribute to the assessment of patients and assure the well-being of patients.

    Educate patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

    Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
