Description

A well-established global company that services the air conditioning and refrigeration industry is seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer to join their team. This person will work out of their Manheim, PA facility.

Will be responsible for overseeing the laboratory team and present technical report results to the main stakeholders and contribute actively to problem-solving.

Duties:
Coordinate BLDC compressors and inverters tests following internal and international standards, reporting results to the PD manager and Group laboratory manager; Overseeing the laboratory team personnel and define plans to reach the projects' required milestones; Monitor the progress of the team's activities and prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports for upper management; Lead and provide direction on the theory and application of new HVAC&R products, including electronic expansion valves, inverters/drives, compressors, and control systems; Identify knowledge gaps in the laboratory workforce and implement countermeasures; Act as company's Subject Matter Expert for BLDC and Inverters


Job Requirements:

BS/MS Degree in Electric/Electronic engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering; 8+ years' experience working with Electric Motors, BLDC compressors and Inverters in the HVAC/R industry.
