**Affiliated with STARR Restaurants, El Rey**, captures the essence of Mexican home cooking, inspired by the amazing cuisines of Puebla and Veracruz and essence of Mexican home cooking. Eclectic bric-a-brac, like folk art and Spanish movie posters, dress the dizzying walls, providing plenty of visual stimuli for eaters digging into authentic tacos, ceviches, tortas, enchiladas, sopes and more. Add a bar stocked with the best tequilas, mezcals and cervezas and youve got a cantina fit for a king. We are looking for a **Manager** to help bring a unique south-of-the-border experience to the big city.

**Qualified candidates will have:**

1+ years of restaurant management experience that shows progression well rated restaurants

Ability to maintain and train steps of services through the restaurants hourly team while adding informative training opportunities when applicable

Experience building training processes and mentoring a diverse team of hourly staff

Skill in computer and accounting software including: Word, Excel, scheduling software, Open Table, Onboarding, Payroll & HR systems

Experience training hourly staff on food and wine preparations by supporting the BOH team with food descriptions, tech sheet, and so on

Simultaneously lead staff through daily service while driving quality service and high sales
