    Description


    Provide support to IT team as needs arise, including processing purchase orders, invoices, telecom billing analysis, ad hoc financial analysis, trending, analytics, project modeling and special projects.

    Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and
    improve performance. Assemble and summarize data to structure reports on financial status and risks. Highly knowledgeable in internal controls to improve forecasting, investments, accountability, and financial reporting.

    Operations

    • Perform four way match and detailed analytics on monthly invoices to identify patterns, trending, inaccuracies, areas of improvement, contract compliance and root cause
    analysis on variances

    • Create real time executive level dashboard reporting to facilitate strategic IT and financial decisions
    • Support IT procurement activities, create and process Purchase Requests (PRs) / Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Verify, code, and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner with proper approvals
    • Collaborate with IT Program and Project Management teams to reconcile project status and milestones completed to invoices received
    • Collaborate with IT crew to evaluate, analyze, measure, and gather requirements to provide financial support on IT projects through price models and business cases
    • Support the management and renewal of IT contracts as needed
    • Work closely with team to ensure IT accruals and general ledger entries are timely and accurate
    • Consistently evaluate processes, recommend options and implications, and implement improvements to improve operating efficiencies
    • Maintain knowledge of accounting policies and standards
    • Provide support for annual IT audits and ad hoc requests

    Required Skills & Experience

    Experience & Education
    Minimum 5 years experience in similar or related field
    Bachelors degree with an emphasis in business, accounting, or finance is a plus
    Proven track record as a collaborative business partner with the Accounting department, ensuring that IT financial controls meet or exceed the required standards
    Experience managing big data in Excel
    Experience documenting process flows using Visio or similar tools
    Experience using SAP Ariba, Apptio, Jira or similar tools is a plus
    Experience managing and reporting Cloud usage is a plus
    Experience auditing and confirming Telecommunications billing from multiple providers and managing IT equipment procurement and inventory controls is a plus
