    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Contract Specialist.

    In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Vice President and General Counsel, contributing to the success of the legal department by managing the review, negotiation, and drafting of contracts.

    The Contract Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with corporate risk standards and safeguarding the company's interests.


    Responsibilities:


    Review, negotiate, and draft terms and conditions for various agreements, including those with customers, change orders, and other contractual forms, with attorney support as required.


    Handle the review, negotiation, and drafting of letters of credit and parent company guarantees for agreements with customers and vendors.

    Understand and apply legal principles in agreement preparation, seeking attorney support when necessary.


    Coordinate insurance matters, review letters of credit and bank guarantees, manage corporate governance issues, and perform administrative duties to support the Legal Department.

    Utilize the company's matter management software to coordinate the workflow of transactional matters within the legal department.

    Provide training to operations personnel on contracting policies and procedures.

    Maintain the document database, including uploading and tracking documents such as agreements and compliance documents.

    Track outside counsel invoices and process them for payment.

    Offer notary services as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or higher.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration involving legal issues and negotiation.

    Ideal candidate will possess experience in the construction and/or power generation industry (or related industry).

    Proficiency with legal matter management software such as Legal Tracker and ContractPodAI.

    Licensed as a notary or willing to become one.

    $60, $83,000.00 per year
