Job summary
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the DSS staff attorneys in the delivery of legal services.The paralegal will prepare legal pleadings orders and other documents communicate clearly and logically in oral and written form maintain effective working relationships with social workers child support agents other agency staff attorneys clerks judges public officials and the public at large gather key facts interpret verbal non-verbal behavior engage others in an effort to resolve discuss sensitive emotional subjects.
