    Description
    Registered Nurse - Acute Care RN

    Genie Healthcare-Seeking skilled long term acute care RN

    Day shift, 12 hours

    Start, 2-3 weeks from offer

    $50/hr (stipend and taxable)

    $1,800 gross/wk

    1.5+ years experience with Long term acute care, ICU, PCU experience required

    Must have Valid SC or compact RN license in hand at time of submission

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team.

    As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with various medical procedures.

    Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans
    • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
    • Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures

    Experience:
    To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

    • Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a hospital or similar healthcare facility
    • Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures
    • Ability to phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing
    • Experience caring for children in a pediatric setting
    • Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center operations
    • Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment administration
    • Understanding of occupational health practices
    • Competence in inhalation therapy techniques
    • Proficient in medication administration protocols
    • Experience working in assisted living facilities is a plus
    • Knowledge of dermal fillers administration is an advantage
