    Essential Functions
    • Must possess excellent hospitality skills and a strong desire to foster an attitude of Christian hospitality to exceed guest expectations.
    • Maintain an accurate knowledge of the daily work list and weekly set-up needs.
    • Responsible for the event configuration setup/tear down as detailed on the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), to include;
      • Tables
      • Chairs
      • Water/cups
      • Notepads, pens
      • Audio/video equipment
      • Other equipment as requested.
    • Ability to operate audio/video equipment and set up systems and equipment. ON THE JOB TRAINING AVAILABLE
    May include:
    • Audio operation
    • Lighting operation
    • Camera operation
    • Running presentation software
    • Stage set-up and breakdown
    • Assisting in the recording and resale office.
    • Monitor, evaluate and maintain all services equipment, rental rooms and work areas are in good working order and safe for public use.
    • Must possess an acute attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Responsible for meeting last minute service/equipment requests while maintaining a positive attitude to assure the best possible guest experience/Christian Hospitality.
    • Help to maintain an accurate up to date working building inventory list of equipment and report missing or out of service equipment to the Event Services Manager.
    • At time, will be responsible for providing guests with off ground transportation.
    • Responsible for moving Services tables, chairs and other equipment from building to building.
    • Consistently look for and recommend improvements to existing processes, functions and/or systems.
    • Comply will all safety policies, practices and procedures and report any unsafe activities or conditions immediately to the supervisor, or the Human Resource Department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Must have the following:
      • Excellent written and oral communications skills with people from a wide variety of education and socioeconomic backgrounds.
      • Excellent attention to detail
      • Valid NC Driver's License with clean driving record. Prefer CDL Class B with passenger endorsement.
    • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs, multiple task demands, and working environments.
    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, emails, and memos.
    • Ability to effectively present job related information upon request to customers, guests and employees of the organization.
    • Must possess excellent computer, time management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of customer, guests and employee questions or concerns, and recognize when to consult or escalate to the department manager.
    • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
    Working Conditions
    • Moderate physical activity performing strenuous to non-strenuous activities with moderate to loud noise.
    • Well-lighted, heated and air-conditioned indoor/outdoor setting with adequate ventilation.
    • Ability to lift, push, pull or otherwise reposition objects weighing up to 100 pounds. At times, objects may exceed the weight limit.
    • Manual dexterity and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
    • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel; frequently moves about, able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
    • Routinely climb 15 foot fixed vertical ladder to operate audio and lights.
    • Frequently be outdoors in all weather conditions.
    • Vision: must be able to see close, have good vision to perform daily duties.
    • Work Schedule: Monday Sunday, days/nights/weekends/holidays and overtime as required.
