    Kettering Health Washington Township serves the South Dayton, Ohio suburbs, catering to communities like Centerville, Kettering, West Carrollton, Moraine, Miamisburg, Springboro, Bellbrook, and Waynesville for four decades.

    • KH Washington Township, a 123-bed hospital and medical campus, is conveniently situated off I-675.
    • The comprehensive facility provides maternity care, emergency services, hand trauma center, and specialty services within the adjacent medical offices.

    Responsibilities & Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct occupational therapy assessments in collaboration with the referral source to determine the extent of symptoms and functional limitations related to the diagnosis.
    • Devise a tailored treatment plan to alleviate or eliminate symptoms and functional limitations, adjusting as necessary.
    • Utilize various physical modalities such as thermo-therapy, electro-therapy, hydrotherapy, exercise, postural training, gait training, soft tissue mobilization, and independent living skills training.
    • Document progress objectively in symptom reduction and function restoration.
    • Engage with a diverse patient demographic, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly.
    • Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure the achievement of patient goals and objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
    • Must hold a valid license or be eligible for licensure by the State of Ohio.
