Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Advisor at Honda San Marcos is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our valued clients.

This individual will act as a liaison between the customer and the service technicians, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

The successful candidate will have a strong sales background and possess in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry.


Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried sales position in the automotive industry. The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 per year, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate service estimates to customers
• Inform customers about recommended services and address any questions or concerns they may have
• Upsell additional services or products as needed to meet sales objectives
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any necessary updates throughout the service process
• Handle customer complaints and concerns, escalating to management as needed
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Continuously develop knowledge of new products and services to effectively communicate with customers
• Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals set by the dealership

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in Automotive Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum of 23 years of experience in a sales position, preferably in the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
