- Develop custom software and/or use existing software to perform Integration test and measurement activities defined below.
- Provide early feedback to development team (systems engineers, software architects & engineers, etc.)
- Perform hardware and software integration and informal verification activities
- Debug and characterize defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports.
- Exploratory system testing.
- Automation of software and hardware verification.
- Provide Software Quality Metrics.
- Support Bench (alpha) and Market Acceptance (Beta) testing by providing and/or updating equipment, test automation, methodologies, etc.
- Work with and assist teammates, as well as on boarding and training Student Interns.
- Assists product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures.
- Participate in all efforts in the testing and regression testing of new devices being developed, software phase releases for existing products, etc.
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Computer Engineering or related field with 2 5 years' of experience in engineering / development, or a MS in Computer Science, Electrical Computer Engineering or related field with 0 2 years' experience in engineering / development.
- Experience with objectoriented methods and languages: C++, C#, Java, etc.
- Desired: experience with Python programing language.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems.
