Light/Med Equipment Operator Georgetown, SC
Job Summary:
The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment such as Bull Dozer, Front End Loader, Backhoes and Water Truck and for maintaining a safe working environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates heavy equipment such as front end loaders, back hoes, bulldozers and water truck.
Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipmentTransports and delivers materialsCoordinates and plan's routes in an industrial setting with focus on working safelyStrong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ poundsAbility to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety proceduresKnowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting is requiredPossession of a current valid driver's licenseKnowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standardsPhysical Requirements/
