    Compensation:

    • On Target Earnings (OTE) $200,000 (base salary 60,000-65,000 + commission)
    • Active NC MLO License required
    • 2.5+ years of experience in the mortgage field, ideally as a Mortgage Loan Officer
    • Experience with FHA, VA, Fanny Freddy, FHAVA strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential borrowers to promote mortgage loan products.
    • Conduct thorough financial assessments and evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
    • Guide clients through the mortgage application process, explaining various loan options, terms, and requirements.
    • Collect and analyze financial information, including income documentation, credit reports, and property appraisals.
    • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
    • Maintain current knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the loan closing process.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending or related financial services.
    • Proven track record of success in originating and closing mortgage loans.
    • Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and other relevant technology tools.
    • Mortgage Loan Officer License in North Carolina (NC) required
