- Master's degree in public health, health education, or a closely related field.

Job Description
The Extension Area Specialized Agent for Community Health will serve as a key member of the Extension team, working to deliver evidence-based education, developing health program partnerships/collaboration, and support services to communities in the Northeast District.
This position will work broadly in Community Health and will collaborate with a variety of subject matter specialists, non-Extension faculty, VCE program teams, other Area Specialized Agents, and current Extension Agents to address health related issues.
The position will work in concert with the Deputy State Program Leader, Community Engaged Health. This position will support Extension Agents in the district to provide high-quality community health educational programs.The position will have dual reporting lines to the VCE District Director and the Associate Director, Youth, Families, and Health.
This position will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, developing and implementing educational programs, and providing technical assistance and consultation to community partners and Extension colleagues.
