- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide instruction tailored to students' unique learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure the inclusion and academic success of students with disabilities.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance and progress towards IEP goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education from the state of South Carolina.
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
