Position Summary
Operations Technician Level 1 is an entry level role focused on learning and supporting manufacturing operations in a structured, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks may include but are not limited to solid rocket motor manufacturing processes including tooling/assembly/disassembly, case surface prep, machining, and final assembly
Maintaining cleanliness of work area and facilities, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Independently execute manufacturing operations in compliance with AS9100, safety, and environmental requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost and scheduling of their teams.
Champion safety culture and ensure strict adherence to explosive safety protocols.
Required Skills And Abilities
High School diploma or GED
Demonstrates reliability, procedural compliance, and willingness to learn
Able to acquire and maintain Employee Possessor (EP) status under the Safe Explosives Act (SEA).
Must possess a valid states driver's license
Must be able to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Desired Skills And Abilities
0-2 years of manufacturing, operations, or technical experience
Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with others at all levels of the organization
Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist, push and pull up to 50 lb, etc) while wearing protective equipment (respirator, coveralls, gloves, eye and ear protection, etc).
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.Company
