    PLUS eligibility for Sales Incentive ProgramDescription:

    The Account Manager for NCW Produce Packaging will be responsible for driving growth and profitability of the Produce Packaging business managing strategic accounts for Apple and Avocado Trays as well as Tissue Papers.

    This person will work directly with business and functional leaders in Customer Service, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations in the Consumer Products Division Fiber and Fresh Food Solutions teams to deliver profitable business growth.

    Responsibilities include frequent travel via airplane and automobile, regularly requiring an overnight stay, estimated to fluctuate between 30% to 50% of the time.

    Position must be based in either Wenatchee or Yakima, Washington areas, given the significant amount of customers in the area.

    comPrimary Accountabilities:


    Foster strong relationships with current and new customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to ensure that B/U is seen as a provider of value-added services and/or products to the customer.

    Constant engagement in the Produce Packaging market to serve as Subject Matter Expert and adviser to the CPD business about opportunities or challenges within this market.

    Act as a liaison between customers, any necessary vendors and TekniPlex's internal teams as new business and/or product offerings are introduced.

    Work collaboratively to provide delivery dates to customer, investigate and resolve customer possible challenges related to customers' orders.
    Develops short and long-term sales forecasts. Prepares sales forecasts, weekly and monthly reports.
    Proactively develop new processes and methods and means to constantly improve our business model.
    Track and continuously improve our profitability by product family, SKU, customer and manufacturing location.

    Develop new Produce Packaging business, either through increasing sales of existing products or development of new products within the company's capabilities.

    Plans activities to meet or exceed company objectives while minimizing sales expenses.
    Provide and control pricing and credit terms, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

    Gather competitive intelligence on overlapping products with our offerings, identifying, measuring and prioritizing opportunities to capture value in the marketplace and track their results.

    Sales experience in the Produce Packaging industry (apple & avocado packaging experience preferred)

    Ability to travel (sometimes internationally) 30%-50% of the time.
    Exceptional interpersonal, organization and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish a plusAbility to effectively present information to top management, public groups, customers and/or boards of directors.
    Thorough understanding of production/extrusion/printing process and manufacturing capabilities.
    Strong decision-making skills, sound judgment and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).Bachelors degree in either business or marketing and a minimum of 5 years industry experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
