TeamHealth is looking for a toxicology director, either board certified or board eligible, to lead the toxicology curriculum and join the core faculty of an ACGME-accredited three-year emergency medicine residency program. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to be part of a busy Level 1 center in Grand Strand, which is known for handling various environmental toxicology cases. This location also houses the only pediatric emergency department in the area. Grand Strand leaders are currently involved in providing medical guidance to multiple local reptile parks. Moreover, being situated on the coast, there is a significant exposure to stingray and jellyfish envenomation incidents, along with yearly shark attacks. Collaborating closely with the wilderness medicine track director, you will play a crucial role in integrating toxicology education into the GME program.Position Highlights:
