The ideal candidate will have machine operator experience, preferably in bag or pouch machines.Job Dimensions:
2.2.3, 12 hour nigh schedule (6:00pm-6:00am). Must be able to work alternating weekends and some holidays.
Principal Accountabilities:
Set-up and operate machine to meet product requirementsTroubleshoot equipment and product issuesPerform and document quality checks and testingKeep area clean and equipment in good working orderConduct trial runs, monitor machine workflow and pack finished goods for shippingBe proactive with repairs to minor mechanical machine issuesAssist in preventative maintenance of all machines and auxiliary equipmentAssist with all Inspector Operator functions including product inspection, packaging of product, area clean up, quality testing requirements, operating machine through break times, and short restroom breaks, etc.
(Should be capable of backing up all operator responsibilities)Communicate within the group to insure Maintenance and Operators are kept up to date with what occurred during the shift and possible fixes.
