- Echocardiology department in an acute care hospital setting
- Performs M-Mode, 2D, color Doppler, exercise/stress echo, TEE, and TTE studies
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and Lumason as the imaging agent; bubble studies are also performed
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and scanning patients across all aspects of cardiac imaging
- Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and operates within established departmental policies and procedures
- Ability to start IVs is a plus
- Epic charting experience is a plus
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Time-keeping system: UKG/Kronos
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- ACLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
- Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cardiac sonographer required
- Proficiency in TEE, TTE, and stress echo required
- License required if applicable — MA conditional licenses are not accepted
