    Job Summary:

    The Partnership Events Manager is responsible for driving revenue across the Disneyland Resort event portfolio (Festivals, Ticket Events, Run Disney and other activations) by identifying new sponsorship opportunities, managing relationships with existing sponsors and working with internal teams to ensure sponsor deliverable are met.

    Responsibilities :
    • Identify new event sponsorship and alliance opportunities that align with Disneyland Resort Events goals, drive direct business value and ultimately improve the guest experience.
    • Develop a prospect pipeline ensuring new partnership opportunities are always in the consideration set for all Disneyland Resort consumer facing events.
    • Work closely with marketing, corporate alliance, merchandise, food & beverage, operations, EPOS and other business units to identify impactful opportunities and drive partnerships to execution.
    • Lead negotiations with partners and sponsors with the goal of achieving multi-year deals.
    • Maintain relationships with current partners and sponsors, ensuring all contractual deliverables are met in a timely and effective manner and future strategic opportunities are considered.
    • Develop ongoing creative and strategic assessments of partnership opportunities.
    • Own the brainstorming of partnership and sponsorship concepts to build the foundation needed to bring them to life.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest possible quality.
    • Resolve project goals/timelines and communicate those expectations to partners.
    • Collaborate with leaders at all levels to of the organization to operationalize opportunities and tackle logistical problems creatively.
    • Ensure all Resort standards and protocols are followed.
    • Consolidate inputs, ideas, and points of view into recommendations and/or project updates for key collaborators and leadership.
    • Find opportunities, develop alternatives, and recommended excellent solution solutions.
    • Present project updates and pitch new opportunities to the partners and senior-level executives.
    • Focus on opening up the boundaries on all projects for maximum business results, driving long-term growth, keeping ahead of industry trends, and delivering impactful guest focused experiences.
    • Become an authority in event audiences and experiences by developing a profound understanding of consumer patterns, motivations, tastes, and diverse preferences.
    • Build sponsorship budgets and risk analysis while assuring all business goals are met.
    • Provide project-based direction to Event Coordinators with a focus on partnership, open collaboration, and communication.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    • Prior experience in events, sponsorships, or business development.
    • College degree required or relevant experience.
    • When in event mode, ability to work nights and weekends.
    The hiring range for this position is $77, $93,800. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
