    Description
    Thermal Engineer
    Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
    Need bilingual (English and Chinese/Mandarin)

    Responsibility:

    • Early engineering involvement for new project development through NPI to mass production
    • Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives
    • Create and maintain project schedules
    • Possess strong presentation skills
    • Collaborate and facilitate communication across PM, engineering, quality, operations managers, to meet very aggressive cost, schedule, and quality goals.
    • Lead multi-functional communication between project teams and customers
    • Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management
    • Work with PM to establish pricing strategy
    • Present FAI/Cpk data, PPAP report to customers and coordinate new part approval
    • Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making
    • Work as a team to handle quality issues, rework from warehouse or assembly line as required

    Qualification:

    Education:
    M.S. in Engineering (ME is preferred) and

    Experience with server products or thermal solution or cloud or laptop industry.

    • Plastic tooling design knowledge, Metal Injection Molding experience is a plus
    • Knowledge in system level (computer, consumer electronics and communication) is a plus
    • Detailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
    • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
    • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
    • Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
    • Ability to travel internationally (30%+).

    Other Requirements:

    • Familiar with Window and CAD software, experience and knowledge in CFD software (thermal and aerodynamics) is a plus

    Language:
    English, bilingual (Chinese) preferred
