    Job Summary

    The Transportation Department at JEO provides expertise in street, highway, trail, and bridge engineering services. The Transportation Senior Project Manager leads the management of successful projects, meeting client expectations while achieving JEO's financial goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop project plans for transportation engineering projects, considering timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Lead project teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.
    • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and maintain strong relationships.
    • Prepare project proposals, scopes of service, and cost estimates for diverse project types.
    • Manage budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, funding requests, and communication plans.
    • Coordinate design, construction, and implementation activities for transportation engineering projects.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
    • 8+ years' experience in the engineering industry on municipal transportation projects.

    Location

    We have offices throughout IA, KS, NE, OH, and WY.

    Estimated Salary Range

    $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
