    About Radical AI:

    At the Radical AI for Social Good Lab, we're dedicated to leveraging AI responsibly. Our core mission is to democratize AI technology, making it a catalyst for education, social mobility, and equitable progress across global communities.

    Role Overview:

    Join our Summer Virtual Work Experience Program as a Software Engineer. This role is a deep dive into the realms of software engineering, including areas such as full-stack development, cloud computing, and machine learning. You will contribute to groundbreaking software projects and enhance your skills in a dynamic, virtual environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop innovative software applications.
    • Analyze and preprocess data for software development.
    • Collaborate with software teams to enhance algorithms and applications.
    • Present research findings and engage in critical team discussions.
    • Contribute to the development of Kai, our AI Teaching Assistant.

    Program Highlights:

    • Duration: 3 months, with flexible start dates between May and July 2024.
    • Access: Full use of the Radical AI Platform.
    • Feedback: Direct feedback from the Radical AI Core Team.

    Technologies Engaged:

    • Agile and DevOps methodologies
    • Cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS
    • Full-stack development tools (React, , etc.)
    • Python and Java

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
    • Profound knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
    • Expertise in programming languages and software development frameworks.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Additional Information:

    • Unpaid position with remote work setup.
    • Stable internet connection required.
