- Perform stress analysis and determine allowable flight and ground handling loads for aircraft cargo restraints
- Interface loads reports per FAA regulations
- Conduct preprocessing of part geometry and meshing using FEMAP for design validation
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required
- 15 years' Stress Engineering experience or as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis and producing test plans for compliance with FAA regulations
- Or, Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 8 years' Stress Engineering experience or as an engineer in the aerospace industry, conducting tests, performing analysis & producing test plans for compliance with FAA regulations
- Customer oriented to interface with customer during development phase of new products
- Leadership experience, a plus
