- Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations and any other tests or procedures conducted by the Virology/Serology laboratory.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of routine instrumentation and methodology used in Clinical Virology/Serology.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting in Virology/Serology.
- Be flexible, as duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above description.
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Physical, or Biological Science required.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure required.
- ASCP certification preferred.
- Prior experience in Virology/Serology preferred.
