    Your Opportunity

    Stantec's Infrastructure Management and Pavement Engineering (IMPE) Group leads in pavement engineering, infrastructure and asset management consulting, and data collection efforts. With a strong track record in sustainable pavement solutions, our expertise is recognized through successful projects across North America and internationally. Our diverse client base includes municipalities, provincial transportation departments, and private sector entities.

    We are currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to join our Amherst, New York team. In this role, you will utilize your technical skills to collaborate with Operational Staff, Data Analysts, Pavement Engineers, and fellow Project Managers, focusing on teamwork, innovative design, client satisfaction, and business growth. The ideal candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.

    As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing project delivery, nurturing client relationships, contributing to business development, ensuring technical excellence, and upholding project quality.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Manage IMPE projects to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
    • Act as the client liaison for effective account management.
    • Assess and address client needs to ensure satisfaction.
    • Organize project tasks and mitigate risks.
    • Collaborate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and project teams.
    • Lead and motivate project teams effectively.
    • Monitor project costs and invoicing.
    • Participate in the IMPE business development process.
    • Identify and pursue new opportunities.
    • Prepare and submit bid proposals for projects.
    • Deliver presentations to potential clients.
    • Upsell services to existing clients.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.

    Qualifications

    Your Capabilities and Stetements:

    • Significant client management experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Financial proficiency in budget management.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Keen interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Experience in team-oriented environments.
    • Background in civil engineering or related fields.
    • Willingness to travel within North America.

    Education and Experience:

    A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred, along with at least 5 years of relevant Project Management experience.

    Location:

    Position can be based anywhere in the continental US, with a preference for Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Texas.
