Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to join a world-class audit function with excellent growth potential within the Textron enterprise.

The Senior Audit Analyst will work as a key member of the audit team by performing audits of financial, IT, and compliance processes across all Textron business functions and industries for efficiency, effectiveness and adequacy of financial accounting, reporting and controls.

This position will act as a stepping stone for the candidate to subsequently take on other positions throughout Textrons many locations.

Responsibilities:
Conduct audit work based on established audit plans and execute the audit in accordance with established standards ensuring completion within prescribed budget and scope parametersDevelop/contribute to the audit planning process during and subsequent to the auditAnalyze and test key business processes to ensure adequate control environment has been established and financial information is stated accurately in accordance with Textron policiesCollaborate with key corporate and business unit personnel involved in the business processParticipate in presentations and discussions on findings and resolutions of outstanding audit issuesPerform other duties and special projects as assignedTravel approximately 30-50% (the Americas, Europe, and Asia)

Education/ExperienceBachelors Degree (accounting or finance preferred)Demonstrated experience in accounting and/or auditingWorking knowledge of financial business processesManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredSAP, Oracle financial software application experience a plus.

Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.
Analytical approach to evaluation of business processes.
