Java Application Architect

A Consulting, LLC is a fast-growing solutions delivery company, delivering on end-to-end Enterprise-wide information technology (IT) initiatives. Based in Maryland, we are looking for innovative IT professionals to provide contract support, onsite or remotely, in the federal, state, and commercial sectors in the Baltimore area and beyond.

The Software Architect works as part of an agile team, comprised of software engineers involved with designing, developing, testing, and deploying a new software application for a large Federal agency. The tasks that require your contributions include discovery, application development, data migration, and acting as a resource for any training development.

Basic Qualifications (Required):

• Java application architect with Microservices experience in Spring Boot
• Good knowledge on AWS, EKS, SQS, SNS services
• Work with the customers to understand the requirements and translate to technology solutions
• Strong Experience working on AWS is a must
• Strong communication skills
• Database experience like Redshift, RDS, NoSQL, DynamoDB, at least one of these
• Experience supporting Federal Government Projects

Education:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Certifications (Preferred):

• AWS certification is preferred

Salary negotiated commensurate with experience.
