    What youll doAs a Structural Engineer, we promote a team environment, so youll work with fellow engineers, environmental scientists and many others.


    Youll also:
    Provide bridge inspection and design services.
    Actively develop and grow the structural engineering team.
    Be familiar with structural components.
    What it takesIdeally, youll have a bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You should have seven to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures.

    You should be a licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin or demonstrate the ability to secure these licensures.


    Ideally, youll also:
    Know construction methods and materials and code requirements.
    Know how to develop design and construction plans.
    Use structural engineering software.
    Speak and write well.
    Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
    Be a team player.
