Summary:
A global leader in the paper & pulp manufacturing space that is experiencing rapid growth is looking to expand their engineering team by bringing on a Senior Plant/Project Engineer who can make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities:
Manages project activities, costs, timelines, and performance agreements for capital and other identified projects.
Develops and oversees project-specific capital and expense budgets, ensuring performance aligns with budgets.
Supervises projects and staff, serving as a liaison between plant staff and vendors.
Analyzes data to improve facility efficiency, lower costs, and enhance safety and quality performance.
Provides technical support and problem resolution, including preventive maintenance and asset optimization.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and 2D CAD software (e.g., DraftSight, AutoCAD).
Proficiency in 3D CAD software like SolidWorks is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
Familiarity with paper or film converting and/or printing is advantageous.
