    Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Nursing Assistant

    Location: Bethany Home Brandon

    Employment Shift: Days (6am-2pm) Evenings (2pm-10pm) Overnights (10pm-6am) Part-Time or Full-Time available

    Pay: Starting pay range of $ $22.00 depending on experience

    Position Overview:

    We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Nursing Assistants to join our team. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and are looking for an opportunity to grow in the healthcare field, we want to hear from you

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

    -Provide light housekeeping and cleaning of resident rooms and equipment.

    Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

    Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.

    Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.

    Participate in resident activities and recreational programs.

    -Attend to all resident personal hygiene and personal care needs, including but not limited to grooming, hygiene, dining and nutritional needs, mobility, elimination, psychosocial and safety needs.

    -Consistently work with all neighborhood team members, led by resident and family preferences to meet the needs and desires of each resident.

    Requirements:

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, but not required.

    Willingness to complete on-the-job training if not certified.

    Compassion, patience, and a desire to work with seniors.

    Strong communication skills

    Good attendance and availability to work every other weekend.

    Working Conditions:

    -The position involves direct patient care and may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

    -Nursing assistants may be exposed to various medical conditions and need to follow infection control protocols.

    -The environment is a healthcare setting within a nursing home, which may include exposure to various medical equipment and procedures.
