    As our Manager Software Engineering, you will join our engineering team that is responsible for building the state-of-the-art data platform foundation for the company. Each day, you will manage and oversee the development & deployment of high-quality software products and ensure that the development teams adopt and follow modern engineering practices to deliver a high-quality, high-value product.

    To thrive in this role, you must have strong leadership and management skills, excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Experience with data platforms, big data technologies, and software development methodologies is also required.

    Here's what you will experience working as a Manager Software Engineering:

    • Leading and managing a team of software engineers(5+), providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Developing and implementing software engineering best practices, processes, and methodologies to ensure high-quality and efficient software development.
    • Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of software applications that handle and process large volumes of data.
    • Managing the data platform infrastructure, including data pipelines, data integration solutions, and data storage systems.
    • Ensuring data security and privacy by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
    • Providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and managing project risks and dependencies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 4 or more years of software development leadership experience, with a primary focus on developing new products and delivering new features/functionality and enhancements.
    • Previous engineering management experience managing software engineers
    • Hands on experience coding
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Understanding/Experience with Healthcare Services, PHI, PCI, and data security.
    • Proficiency in Data engineering and big data technologies like Hadoop,Spark, Kafka is highly desirable
    • Strong knowledge of object-oriented languages like C#, Java or Scala is preferred
    • In-depth knowledge of SQL Databases
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure stack and Azure Cloud (App Services, Azure Storage Accounts, App Insights, Data Factory and Data Bricks).
    • Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jira, Bitbucket, GIT)

    For this US-based position, the base pay range is $125, $165,732.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
