    Manufacturing Engineer

    As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise in manufacturing methods and processes to optimize costs, enhance quality, and boost productivity.

    Analyze new capital equipment requirements, installation, and ensure proper use is documented and instructed.

    Additionally, evaluate new product designs for manufacturability, offer technical support for engineering and process changes, and actively engage in rapid improvement events.

    Fluent knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Machining, assembly, quality control processes
    Designs and coordinates standard manufacturing processes.
    Plans or improves production methods including flow, tooling, assembly methods and production equipment.
    Estimates production times and optimum staffing for production schedules.
    Determines the development or purchase of capital equipment.
    Interacts with design, manufacturing, and suppliers.
    Creates production processes and documents through routings, bills of materials and standard work.
    Oversee fixture design and manufacture.
    Evaluates non-confirming parts and provides proper disposition.
    Leads and participates in Lean Manufacturing improvement events using all available tools and techniques.
    Ensures safety designed into all processes and implements safety corrective actions required to eliminate safety risks
    Directing and coordinating production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance processes
    Creating project specifications and detailed plans.
    Ability to quickly assess manufacturing issues related to design and tolerancing
    Knowledge of basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect in manufacturing processes.
    Ability to utilize engineering principles to develop robust manufacturing processes the first time
    Demonstrated understanding of inspection tools, techniques, and their application to engineering requirements.
    BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical engineering.
    Experience in the following areas: final assembly and testing,
    Advanced experience with engineering-related software
    Energy and passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
    Strong project management skills
    Demonstrated understanding of inspection tools, techniques, and their application to engineering requirements.
    Understanding of production control and demand-pull systems highly desirable.
    Extensive skills in CAD software, Excel, Word, Access, Microsoft Project.
