TechStyleOS is currently looking for an **Associate Buyer, ShoeDazzle Footwear**
As the Associate Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team to manage the ShoeDazzle Footwear business, which includes analyzing & driving sales, building assortments, creating and tracking purchase orders, and managing samples. The Associate Buyer will provide input in assortment meetings and assist in managing select product categories based on selling and trends and make recommendations to adjust future assortments. The Associate Buyer will also obtain a general understanding of the buying process and develop his/her understanding of financial concepts.
This position will report to the **Director of Merchandising, ShoeDazzle Footwear**
**Responsibilities:**
Generate weekly business reports. Interpret current business results to identify key learnings and develop future strategies. Present business trends, hits & misses, and recommend actionable items in Team Bestseller meetings and pre-meetings
Attend and participate in key meetings Weekly Bestsellers, Monthly Hindsights, Design meetings (Sketch Review, Merch Line, Collection Review) and Investment meetings
Drives seasonal assortment planning that is on-trend, ensuring a representation of styles within global trends & collections, as well as covering off on key head-to-toe looks in partnership with Apparel and Accessories teams
Ensure overall assortment meet customer needs in regards of silhouettes, colors, materials, and price points
Manage the purchase order process including investment sheet set up, purchase order entry, P.O. maintenance, tracking, and receiving. Communicate any style cancellations or delivery changes to cross-functional departments.
Leads ad-hoc chase initiatives, working with in-house design and market vendors. May negotiate pricing, chargebacks, and discounts as needed.
Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure the timely delivery of merchandise
In partnership with the Web Merchandising team, QA the product shopping pages by category during monthly launches. Ensure accuracy of price points, aesthetics, and colors.
**Required Skills:**
BA or BS degree preferred
2+ years of experience in Womens Footwear merchandising/buying
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
A creative, results-oriented self-starter who possesses excellent prioritization and project management skills, and who has a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
Positive/ go-getter, team player, who can also work independently, with the ability to troubleshoot and work in a fast-moving, multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines.
Proficiency in using the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
