The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery Center is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time position in Chattanooga, TN.

Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has opened a new state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center. This 10 OR suite ASC is the largest in the state of Tennessee. We have been Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We are seeking highly skilled individuals who seek to advance their careers in Orthopaedic Surgery.

This position will be utilized as a "runner" to move patients to/from Pre-Op and PACU, especially on "pain days" to assist with the rapid turnover of patients. This position will also assist Pre-Op and PACU with processing charts, reviewing lab work and patient post operative phone calls.

Education: Completion of a formal medical assistant training program and/or Medical Assistant certification.

Experience: Will consider recent graduate of medical assistant training program. At least two years experience in outpatient clinic setting desired.

BLS (CPR) certification required.

Excellent customer service skills required.

No call/nights/holidays.
