    StaffEx is looking for a Poll Worker Support Specialistfor the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections

    Department Name: Poll Worker Services and Training
    Position Title: Poll Worker Support Specialist
    Pay Rate: $17/Hr.
    Assigned Work Location: ESC
    Hours: Standard 8:00am – 5:00pm with the availability to work earlier, later and weekends
    Job qualifications:
    • Great customer services skills and phone etiquette
    • Previous experience in a customer support role
    • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
    • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
    • General office practices and procedures
    • Ability to speak, read and write English
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
    • Ability to work overtime if required (long days and weekends if necessary)
    • Ability to work independently and with others
    • Graduation from High School or possession of a GED certificate
    • Passing score on typing and data entry pretesting
    • Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than seven points.
    Illustrative job duties:
    • Act as a liaison between Poll Workers and the Poll Worker Services and Training Department
    • Process poll worker applications and payroll information
    • Handle large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
    • Answer questions and provide real-time support using webchat applications
    • Follow communication scripts when handling a variety of topics
    • Identify poll worker needs, clarify information, research issues and provide solutions via emails, phone calls and webchat.
    • Troubleshoot basic issues with online training activities
    • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
    • Other duties as required
