Acute care certification required for APRNs- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APRN Board. - Privileged and credentialed through the Medical Staff Office (MSO)

Description
Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, collaborative, and flexible Advanced Practice Provider to join our fast-paced inpatient Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team. As an APP on the Trauma Surgery service, you will respond to trauma activations in the ER, assist in consultations, and contribute to the management for 20-50 high-acuity patients. This is not an operative position. Must be enthusiastic about a teaching environment for trainees of all levels.
Schedule: 4x10s on weekdays (M,T,Th,F). One week per month will be 3x10s on weekdays and 1x10 on Saturday. No on-call
