    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring three years of circulating experience and a WA or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Surgery Unit of a non-profit community hospital with 7 ORs at the main facility and 3 ORs at an ASC attached to the hospital
    Care for both adult and pediatric patients in ENT, general, GI, GYN, ortho, robotics (DaVinci), and urology cases
    Shifts are 12 hours, days, with start time of 0645; may include 10 or 12 hour shifts with a rotating day off
    Required to work approximately one weekend per month
    On-call required for day shift only, 4-5 shifts per month from end of shift to 0700 next day, and 24-hour weekend call
    No floating required
    Uses Epic EMR
    Provide surgical nursing care for a diverse patient population including complex cases
    Navy scrubs are provided as part of the dress code
    References must be from a supervisor or higher
    Must be able to take call as scheduled and participate in a weekend rotation
    No new grads accepted for this position

    Requirements
    Active WA or compact RN license
    Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
    Minimum of three years circulating RN experience in surgery
    Circulating experience required in ENT, general, GI, GYN, ortho, robotics, and urology
    Epic EMR experience required
    First-time travelers are not considered
