    Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs seeks a Senior Research Scholar or Research Scholar to play a leadership role in developing research studies and related programming in the areas of international capital markets and central banking. In addition, the scholar will serve as the Faculty Director of the MPA in Economic Policy Management.

    The successful candidate will have long-standing experience and expertise in central banking as well as an academic grounding in the field.

    Ph.D in economics, public policy or a related field.

    English language proficiency and strong communication skills (both oral and written) required.

    Strong publication record that includes a combination of peer-reviewed journal, research reports, issue briefs, op-eds, and other outputs in addition to speaking engagements with diverse audiences.

    Preferred Qualifications: At least ten years' experience in central banking, international capital markets, and/or international finance; supervisory and/or management experience.
