    The Opportunity:

    Our client is a well-established manufacturer in firearms and defense technology. We have partnered with them in their search for a Quality Engineer based in Hartford, Connecticut.     What You'll Be Doing:

    • Develop and implement plans, procedures, and methods to assure quality requirements are met
    • Provide technical assistance, training, and troubleshoot problems
    • Implement inspection and testing methods to evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment
    • Deliver quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data
    • Work in collaborating with the Quality team to achieve deadlines for product delivery
    • Identify areas of improvements and deliver strategic plans with changes to implement
    • Other duties as assigned

    What You'll Need to Be Successful:

    • Bachelor of Science Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor Preferred, or relevant work experience
    • Thorough understanding of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
    • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Knowledge of testing best practices, version-control procedures, and defect management processes
    • Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE or CQA
