- Job Duties: • Self-starter, work without direct supervision
- Integrate into a high tempo work environment supporting F-35 aircraft operations and maintenance.
- Operate RVR and HIT at F-35 sites to ensure non-standard F-35 LO defects/repairs and aircraft modifications do not adversely impact respective aircraft's Radar Cross-Section (RCS).
- Sustain Information Assurance (IA) posture for all F-35 aircraft RVR and HIT systems as directed under security certification and accreditation documentation and approved by F-35 Program Authorizing Official (AO).
- Participate in drafting future Windows migration packages under Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) construct.
- Author RMF artifacts/documents to include a robust Information Assurance (IA) Verification & Validation (V&V) Test Plan.
- Execute IA V&V Test Plan with other team members
- Integrate LO Assessment Tier II tools such as the HIT into F-35 maintenance and mod operations.
- Support program technical interchange meetings and program plans development.
- Manage, track multiple engineering and logistic support activities, and provide periodic status to customers and program management team.
- Combine engineering knowledge with real world maintenance experience.
- Conduct training and provide product briefings to customers, vendors, and company representatives.
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills and engage with multiple engineering disciplines, Field Support Engineers, military personnel and other contractors on a regular basis.
- Work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays, if necessary, as well as travel on Temporary Duty Assignments (TDY) to support F-35 program requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) and 5 years' aircraft field/maintenance operations experience, OR Master's degree with 3 years' experience in aircraft field/maintenance operations OR PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Must have an active DOD Secret (or higher) clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 System Administrator Work Role qualifications, such as Security+ CE
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) and 9 years' aircraft field/maintenance operations experience, OR Master's degree with 7 years' experience in aircraft field/maintenance operations OR PhD with 4 years of experience.

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Engineer (T03) or Senior Principal Engineer (T04) as a F-35 Repair Verification Equipment (RVE) Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals
This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL in support of the F-35 Lightning II Program The candidate will be assigned to Product Support, F-35 Supportable Low Observables (SLO) & Field Support Engineering, organization as an F-35 Repair Verification Equipment (RVE) Engineer supporting full-spectrum of radar imaging activities across entire F-35 program utilizing Repair Verification Radar (RVR), Handheld Imaging Tool (HIT) and other LO diagnostic support equipment
*This position can be filled at a Level 03 or Level 04 based on the selected candidate's qualifications
Once ATO is awarded by Authorizing Official (F-35 Program Executive Officer), candidate will maintain RVR and HIT IA posture IAW F-35 Program Standard Vulnerability Management Plan.

Salary Range:
$84,200 - $126,400
Salary Range 2:
$104,400 - $156,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives
