    Registered Nurse: 3F Stroke/Neuro, tele unit | $30,000 Sign on Bonus available for qualified candidates
    Unit Description: 3F is a 24- bed Telemetry unit. This unit supports our comprehensive stroke program. Specializing in the care of Neurology, Neurosurgery, TIA, and CVA. This unit also serves as an overflow for orthopedic patients. The patient population is transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.

    As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.

    Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.

    Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/universityCandidate with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.

    Basic life supportACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
