    PRIMARY FUNCTION:


    As Program Manager - Peer Mentorship, manage a data-driven sustainable peer mentorship program, build capacity, and provide ongoing oversight to volunteer peer mentors.

    Oversee brain injury support groups providing guidance and support.

    ESSENTIAL

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Maintain a data-driven approach to the formalization of a sustainable peer mentorship program. Research existing

    evidence based, best, and/or promising practices related to peer mentorship.
    Build capacity of peer mentors, oversee and maintain a training curriculum for peer mentors.

    Peer Mentor Program Coordination:
    Provide coordination for all peer mentors statewide.
    Identify and recruit peer mentors across Colorado.

    Match peer mentors to mentees, making sure of a good fit and ensure each match is properly tracked and each participant's application is updated within Salesforce.

    Provide oversight and ongoing support to peer mentors.
    Complete all required data collection, entry, and reporting accurately and by the deadlines specified.

    Create and maintain contacts for support group leaders in Salesforce

    Support Group Coordination
    Ensure that support group leaders have the Support Groups Manual upon request.
    Attend support group meetings as requested.
    Lead presentations to support groups and recruit mentors.
    Plan and execute virtual events for support group leaders quarterly.
    Plan and oversee support group events (may include Support Group Awards, Annual Rockies games)
    Program reporting

    On an ongoing basis, collect and enter data into Salesforce on number and demographics of mentors and mentees, including data regarding follow through with BIAC services.

    Program budget management

    Manage the Peer Mentorship Program incentives budget and MINDSOURCE expectations, including distributing match stipends, hosting 4 in-person professional development days per FY, provide ongoing training as needed.


    Mentor support and training:
    coordinatebi-monthly mentor orientation refreshers and host monthly virtual mentor meetings

    OTHER DUTIES:
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Required

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, and minimumone yearof experience managinga program and/orstaff in areas relevant to the position.
    Experience working with people with cognitive disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
    ACBIS Certification (training provided by BIAC) within one year within one year.
    Access to reliable transportation for travel within the region this position serves.

    Willingness to travel to and from meetings, sometimes after hours and on weekends; overnight stays may be required when traveling.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Advanced degree, or equivalent experience, and three years of experience managing a program and/or staff in areas relevant to the position.

    Experience with program development and/or volunteer management.
    Experience with program reporting and evaluation to fulfill grant and contract requirements.
    Experience as a peer mentor.
    Current ACBIS certification.
    Bilingual (English and Spanish).

    Knowledge of community, state, and federal resources for brain injury, disability, or human services specific to the region this position serves.
