    PURPOSE STATEMENT


    The Director of Marketing & Product Manager, f'real is responsible for planning the strategic direction for f'real as well as driving product lifecycle management, establishing pricing strategy, developing marketing plans, new product/platform roadmaps, financial management and overall responsibility for delivering business results.

    This role is a hybrid role based out of our Buffalo, NY (World Headquarters) office. This role could also be based out of our St. Simon, GA office or Emeryville, CA office.

    Key Accountabilities/Outcomes

    Leadership

    Vision/Strategy:
    Develop and drive assigned long range category plans and execution to achieve market share, volume and profit targets (including responding to trends, portfolio mapping, innovation/renovation activity)

    Cross-functional team leadership on key initiative products and programs

    Supports development of associates, strategic planning acumen and financial acumen

    Ensure execution of plans and achievement of results by:

    getting the right people on the team;

    aligning and preparing them to perform at a higher level; and

    providing daily leadership to create positive experiences to shape beliefs and actions consistent with our desired culture.

    Understands the Market

    Understands the customer, competitor, consumer and Rich's capabilities and other insights that will be leveraged to shape the category

    Formulate and execute response to competitive activity

    Accountable for Discovery work to generate new products and platforms within appropriate target segments

    Owns capture of VOCC for customer and consumer and translate into business opportunities

    Accountable for understanding the market driving insights that will shape strategy and drive outcomes

    Marketing Management

    Accountable for Rich's brand strategy and value proposition within multiple categories

    Accountable for planning and executing marketing plans for the assigned categories to drive demand

    Accountable for the associated budget

    Interfaces with external agency partners and customer marketing team and Demand Creation COE

    Accountable for ensuring content and data for assigned categories is demand creation ready

    Collaborate with Demand Creation COE digital resources to drive demand

    Product Management

    Accountable for product life-cycle and sku rationalization plan across categories to optimize portfolio performance

    Product Development and Improvement:
    Accountable for innovation/renovation activity against plan

    Product/Segment Knowledge:
    Responsible for ensuring the team's expertise on assigned categories (understand operational capabilities, technical aspects, uses, customer positioning)

    Influences category demand plan, risks and opportunities and gap closing plans

    Provides support and solutions to the Product Supply Chain

    Owns pricing and trade guidelines for the categories and maximizes Rich's value proposition within the categories

    Financial Management

    Responsible for delivering results

    Leverages opportunities to maximize profitability

    Accountable for gap closing plans

    Accountable for marketing budget across assigned categories

    Understands the cost structure relative to key competitors and takes action as required

    Knowledge/Skills/Experience

    Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of experience in a marketing role

    In-depth mastery of strategic planning in a marketing leadership role with proven success

    In-depth understanding of financial principles including the P&L, RONA, IRR and NPV and demonstrated application to achieving category results and creating business cases

    Solid communication skills to include verbal and written capabilities; strong presentation ability including with all audiences and levels of management

    Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across all levels

    Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work

    Demonstrated leadership skills either with direct reports and cross functional resources through leading strategic initiatives through projects/teams

    Experience in the food industry a plus

    Proven track record of leadership, taking initiative and delivering results

    Solid software proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    Ability to travel up to 25% -30%

    Compensation


    In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.

    The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

    Annual Range/Hourly Rate

    $147,943.82-$246,573.04
