    Description

    The Museum of Aviation (MoA) at Robins Air Force Base GA, a nonprofit Foundation for charitable purposes, is excited to announce a search is on for its next president. The president will lead the MoA Senior Management Team responsible for executing enterprise operations, programs and initiatives. The MoA enterprise includes nine departments; Events, Facilities, Fundraising, Marketing, Development, Education, Visitors Experience, STARBASE and Gift Shop.

    The foundation is looking for someone with:

    -A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)

    -Experience in dealing with the US Department of Defense Senior Leaders

    -A background in developing and executing fundraising initiatives

    -Excellent communication skills

    The President's responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

    -Interfacing with senior management military officials on the MoA staff and at Robins Air Force Base.

    -Partnering with the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame to honor the achievements of aviation leaders.

    -Establishing and executing strategic enterprise plans, and monitoring and reporting the status of the plans goals.

    -Developing and operating a board of directors approved annual budget, and reporting the status of financial execution.

    -Overseeing and upkeep of books, records, notices, agendas and minutes from the board of directors and committees.

    -Leading MoA day-to-day management and operations.

    -Communicating the Foundation's purpose and plan to internal and external MoA stakeholders.

    -Partnering with nonprofit, government, education, and businesses in the community, state and nationwide.

    -Directing programs and projects, determined by the board of directors, to be in the foundation's best interest.

    -Complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

    The President will report to the MoA Board of Directors

    -Role Starts: 1 October 2024

    -Work Hours: 40 Per Week

    -Annual Base Salary: $115, May increase annually, during the performance review process)

    -Performance Bonus: May be awarded at fiscal year end by the board of directors
