    JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S
    Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II
    JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges

    RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION Support Engineering Staff, modify, install, test, evaluate, repair, and document the operation and performance of airborne test instrumentation, data acquisition systems and ground support equipment.

    Proficient in analog and digital electronic fundamentals.
    Knowledgeable on schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, block diagrams and technical publications to build prototype electronic assemblies.

    Hands on experience of equipment such as multi-meter, O-scope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, frequency meter, logic probe to accomplish specific tasks such as checkout, calibration, troubleshooting and repair.

    Proficient in fabricating cable harnesses, populating electronic assemblies, soldering, crimping, and wire terminations to interface equipment to sensors, data acquisition units and test equipment.

    Working knowledge of thermocouples, temperature reference junctions, accelerometers, charge amplifiers, pressure transducers, strain gages, piezoelectric transducers, flow meters, transmitters, and signal conditioners.

    Hands-on electrical, instrumentation, and avionics maintenance on aircraft is highly desired.
    Able to work in a field environment, which will include shift work, overtime, and travel to remote locations.
    Frequent exposure to weather and temperature extremes, drafts, noise.
    Must have or be able to obtain a DOD security clearance.
    Must be able to obtain special program access
    REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory or a military equivalent is required
    ISCET certification may be required
    Comprehensive knowledge in general electronics and demonstrated expertise in electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems along with test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment is necessary
    Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power RF devices may be required
    At least 7 years of hands-on experience is required
    Successful candidates will have expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities
    The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license
    Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
    Must be a U.S
    citizen
    SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $71,323 to $83,014 annually
    The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay
    JT4 LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer
    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the employee's job
    WORKING CONDITIONS Use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required
    The reminder of the work is performed near hangars, near a flightline, or in a shop environment that is moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated, and has risk for cuts and bruises from using tools in close places
    Employee will frequently be exposed to hazards including but not limited to noise, moving vehicles such as forklifts and sweepers, moving mechanical parts, vibration, extreme heat, and fumes
    Occasionally, employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold/heat when outside; risk of electrical shock; and elevated surfaces on ladders or maintenance stands when working on the aircraft
    While performing job duties, employee is regularly required to lift items weighing 15 to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (anything heavier than 50 pounds requires two people or mechanical assistance)
    Employee may need to stand, kneel, or work in tight constrained spaces for long periods of time
    Employee may work on ladders for extended periods
    Employee may have to use ladders and stands to access work areas
    Employee is required to report any and all unsafe conditions, question nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve hazards and provide feedback to supervisors and managers on all safety issues
