    Commercial Lines Account Manager

    Essential Responsibilities:

    The hybrid Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for providing professional service to new and existing clients in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Communicates with customers on all facets of their account service needs (i.e., policies, endorsements, audits, proofs of coverage, cancellations, etc.)
    • Processes new/renewal summaries and proposals
    • Renewal marketing to carriers
    • Supports all efforts of account retention and growth of existing book of business
    • Assists with account rounding, offers of new coverage
    • Handles claims in absence of agency claims coordinator or in response to catastrophic event
    • Verifies that all policies are bound with insurance companies in writing prior to or on the effective date of the policy
    • Invoices all renewal policies and collects down payments and/or premium payments, including creating premium finance agreements when applicable.
    • Checks new business and renewal policies against applications and binders
    • Keeps client and policy information in agency management system up to date according to procedures
    • Contacts insured as needed for collecting outstanding balances according to procedures
    • Ensures that all endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates and other customer requests are handled in an accurate and timely manner according to procedures

    Desired Skills/Qualifications:

    • Texas General Lines Property and Casualty License
    • Knowledge of Vertafore products - AMS360 and ImageRight
    • Commercial Lines Account Management experience

    Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Dependability and punctuality

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm w/ 1 hour lunch break (Hybrid Work Schedule)
