Seeking candidates with EEG Tech, Neurology, or clinical experience.

to assist with coverage in the Neurology dept as needed.

Applies suitable electrodes on predetermined measured positions on the patient's head and checks their performance.
# Abstracts relevant information from the patient's clinical record and obtains additional information by questioning the patient.
# obtains the patient's cooperation for the best performance of these tests; Keeps equipment in a clean operating condition; Initiates patient diagnostic encounter in EPIC; forwards to interpreting physician for billing and closure.
# Assists with coverage in Neurology Dept as required.
# Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is an essential requirement of working at Confluence Health. Religious and medical exemptions will be considered upon request.
Basic computer skills.
Medical terminology.

Graduation from an AMA accredited training program for EEG and/or evoked potential techs or at least 2 yrs of on-the-job training and clinical experience in these studies in lieu of formal training.

O = Occasional, represents 1 to 25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday.
F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.
C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
overtime may be required.

General supervision is provided by the Practice Manager with additional instructions, guidance, and directions provided by the providers with whom the EEG Tech is working.
